We've been talking about family reunions this week and using present perfect to talk about changes that have happened recently. I have a small immediate family and a large extended family. Growing up, my immediate family included just my mother, my father, my brother and me, but I had 9 cousins, 8 aunts and uncles, and 4 grandparents in my extended family. All of us lived in Michigan.
However, things have changed since I was a child. My brother has gotten married and he has had 3 daughters. He has been married for 8 years and his daughters are 7, 6, and 2 years old. Two of my nieces have started violin lessons recently. My youngest niece has learned how to walk and she has started to speak in full sentences. Also, all of my cousins have gotten married and have had children. Now I have over 40 people in my extended family. In addition, 3 of my grandparents have passed away. I have only one grandmother and she is 99 years old. Finally, some of my family members live in Michigan and some of us have moved to different states. We moved because of better job opportunites.
Now I'd like you to describe your family. Also, describe the changes that have happened in the last 10 years. Post your answers and then read your classmates' answers.

My immediate family is just my father,my mother,my two brothers, my sister and me. Three of us we have married, only my little brother is single, but we haven't childs yet.
My extended family is very large I have 13 ants and 11 uncles and a lot of cousins, many of they I don't know because they have lived in other cities, and I have had four grandparents three of them pass away.
When I was a child my life was very different we were very happy, we have lived in harmony with all uncles and ants we always have had a paties togheter, after everything change because all have taken differents ways, for example I came to U.S. with my little brother and we have left us family in Mexico,I got married first after my sister, she is pregnant now(he will be my fist nephew) and last my brother, he is a lawyer and his wife too. My parents have come here for almost three years, but now they are in Mexico I hope they come back later.

However, I had had a big immediate family befor I married. 4 grandparents, my parents, my brother. 3 of my grandparents have passed away. I have only one my grandma. She is 94. In addition, my brother has gotten married for 8years. His daughter is 5 years old.
She is very cute. I have missed her since I came to USA.

I have a big family, my family is growing more and more. Ten years ago we were 8 brothers and 3 sister included me, and 3 ants and 5 uncles. Also I have 32 cousins. Now my six brothers and me letf to Ecuador and came here. my five brother has gotten maried. my two sisters too. Now I have 6 nieces and 9 nephews. one of my brothers lives to Ecuador.
My oldest niece is studying at university she is 19 years old.
my youngest niece is 7 months and one of my brother pass away. Now we are about 65 people. The oldest person im my extended family is my ant she is 98 years old. Finally
we lived in differents part of the world some cousins live in New York, some live in Mineapolis, some live in Ecuador, some in Texas and I live in Chicago with a brother and my parents.

When was child, I have a parents, two elder brothers, one younger brother and two sister. But, now my father passed away, we all brothers and sisters have married.
So I have now 3 brothers in low, 1 sisters in low,7 nephew 7 niece,2 daughter, and 2 grandson.It's my extended family.

When I was child I had great grand mother. Every July she has called her family.She had a girl and a boy. She had brothers,sisters uncles, cousins,nieces nephews, grandchildren,great grandchildren .They have many children. Her girl was my grand monther.When it was the family renions She has been talking about the life.I remember she liked say that my children make the love with you. I liked that moment because we have met family,we have eaten big meat because they have cooked all cow and have danced all night.She was die when she was one hundrend twelve years old. When I was achild, I had a general immediate family and a large extended family.
